Pricing, Plainly
You'll know exactly what you're paying for before any work starts. Here's how quotes work, and what things typically cost.
How quotes work
Tell us what you need
A short form or phone call is enough — what the site has to do, who it's for, and what's not working now.
We look at your situation
Your current site (if you have one), your goals, and who you compete against locally. This shapes the scope.
You get a line-item proposal
Exact numbers for each piece of work, the timeline, and what's included and not. No obligation — it's yours to keep.
You start when ready
The price in the proposal is the price we work from. If scope changes later, we agree on it before adding anything.
What things typically cost
Most small business site builds start in the low four figures. Larger builds — more pages, custom features, booking or ordering systems — cost more, sometimes several times as much. Ecommerce sits at the higher end of that range.
A redesign of an existing site typically costs more than a ground-up build because the old content has to be audited, rewritten where needed, and migrated without losing your current rankings. You'll see that work itemized in the proposal.
Care plans (updates, backups, monitoring, small changes) and ongoing local SEO both run as monthly retainers. You can start or stop them — the site is always yours.
Because two "five-page websites" can involve very different work — one is text and photos, the other needs custom booking logic. A fixed menu price means someone always pays for work they didn't need, or gets less than they should. A quote tied to your actual scope is fairer.
What's in the price
Every build includes
- Custom design — not a template with your logo on it
- Mobile-friendly, fast-loading build
- Technical SEO foundations: clean structure, schema markup, Search Console setup
- Launch support while you settle in
Common add-ons
- Copywriting — turning what you know into words that work on the page
- Branding — logo, colors, typography
- Ecommerce features and payment setup
- Ongoing local SEO as a monthly retainer
What we don't do
No fake discounts
The price in the proposal is the real price. There's no "today only" pricing, because there was never a higher price to discount from.
No ranking promises
We won't promise #1 on Google or a specific date for results. We build the conditions for ranking and show you what's actually moving in your own data.
No surprise invoices
If scope changes, you'll hear about it before the work happens — with numbers — not after.
No lock-in
You own your site, your domain, and your hosting accounts. If we ever stop being useful, leaving is easy.
Pricing questions
No. Every project gets a line-item quote based on its actual scope, because two five-page sites can involve very different work. You'll see exact numbers before committing to anything.
The proposal includes the payment schedule — you'll see it before any work starts. Most projects split into installments tied to milestones, and ongoing work runs as a monthly retainer.
Yes. Scoped one-off projects are available — tell us what's broken or what you want fixed, and we'll quote that piece of work on its own.
